ruins.

Ruined me, you in me.

Ruined me, unimaginably.

Light bolts in ruins

as hands brush on door knobs;

dreams caught in view-ins,

tears spill over backdrops.

Ruins within and ruins without,

the whole world entangled in what I’m about.

Breaths left unanswered and gazes apart,

the whole world left spangled with pain as I shout.

You left and I waited, for you to call out

a name left enamored in sadness throughout.

You did, and I waited,

in grief, still stretched out.
